Lady GaGa and Beyonce's video for 'Telephone' has clocked up half a million views in the 12 hours since it was premiered at 11:30pm (GMT) last night.
'Telephone' features on Lady GaGa's 'The Fame Monster' album and is released as a single in the UK on Monday
Nine-minute video proves huge internet hit

Lady Gaga and Beyoncé previously collaborated on the video for Video Phone which premiered in November. That song first appeared on Beyoncé's album I Am...Sasha Fierce.
The girls get together again for another music video, “Telephone” shot in LA. 1st was Video Phone,As she told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show just last month, "What I like about it is, it's a real true pop event. When I was younger I was always excited when there was a big giant event happening in pop music and that's what I wanted this to be."
Pretty bold praise for her own work, but "Telephone" definitely has the feel of - in typical Lady Gaga fashion - a performance art piece, rather than a mere video.
Perhaps the best part? At the onset, Gaga is strip searched and tossed in a jail cell. In a funny reference to the hermaphrodite rumors about her, a guard says:
"Told you she didn't have a d!ck."
That's before the music even commences, too. "Telephone" may not be as epic as "Bad Romance," but you have to give Gaga credit, because it's darn close.

Lady GaGa told MTV News that that this song is about her “fear of suffocation.” She added that the phone in the song isn’t just a physical phone, but also somebody in her head telling her to keep working harder and harder. “That’s my fear — that the phone’s ringing and my head’s ringing,” she explained. “Whether it’s a telephone or it’s just the thoughts in your head, that’s another fear.”
